Mike needed Jefferson for #the 47 this winter so with warm temps and bluebird skies we decided to add Washington and Monroe. Up Jewell was easy going and well packed out. Few icy sections along gulfside crampons would be useful or snowshoes. Jefferson had alot of exposed rock so snowshoes were useless here. Passed a couple people o n there way back to Jewell. Then met Ed coming off Jefferson. Smooth sailing to the top of Jefferson with a good sized snow field that snowshoes would have helped but we stayed in micros. Easy going to Washington where we saw Ed again.
Down to the hut was easy going with a few icy spots. Passed a couple more people heading to Monroe. Going up Monroe was pretty icy. Ammonusuc well packed out. Great Presi day with lots of people out
