Comments
Comments: From the pull off, there was an obvious trail/road heading north to a little shack, which felt like a good way to avoid infringing on the posted land. Started whacking NE from the shack and soon encountered a large field. Crossed the field to some orange driveway/plot stakes, marking the entrance to a woods road. Made the mistake of following this road north, hoping to gain elev, but it really just put me in denser woods when I cut east towards the summit. Summit has an old hunting shack, but no evidence of how they got it up there.

Descending I stuck to the minor drainage, heading SW, which worked much better. It was dry and occasionally seemed like an old road. Followed this until I found the same old road I used on the way up, but this time I was SE of the field, so followed the road NW until the field, crossed the field then followed the drainage back to the shack, then to my car.

40 minute round trip, but I was hustling.
