Comments
Comments: Great spring-like day for these peaks - we did an out and back on Dicey's Mill to avoid the cliffs on Blueberry Ledge Trail. Barebooted until the big crossing, then micros up Passaconaway and back to Rollins, then snowshoes from the start of Rollins almost all the way back to the trailheaad, though micros would have been fine on the lower section of Dicey's Mill. All trails are well packed out and easy to follow, except the short section just beyond the summit of Passaconaway to the view point which was much tougher regardless of footing. Good sections of butt sliding on the way down from Passaconaway. The snow softened considerably by the late afternoon and was a bit sticky, and we noticed very significant snow melt on the lower sections of Dicey's Mill compared to the morning climb. Great views from every where and very little wind all day. Thanks to Ali and Hannah for a fantastic hike!
