Several hikers reported via AllTrails that the gravel road to the parking area is in rough shape.
This is very true, it is worse than washboard, some dips were deep enough to cause tires to spin out, making them even deeper! |

Aside from the brook flowing to the left of the trail just beyond the trailhead, not a drop of water anywhere on the trail, the spring was dry. |

A comfortable hike as I get back into hiking again. It had been 11 years since I was last here, aside from a winter hike a couple years ago. Good choice if you are starting on your 48 quest. |
