Big lot, nice outhouse. A property of the NH State Parks system, managed by the Cohos folks. Consider putting a donation in the tube. We did. |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Easy, one bridged, others dry beds |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Another stellar Cohos Trail Assoc production. Good signs. Thanks! |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Main trail o.k. Bring water, it's very low now. Don't let the wander, this is bordered by private property.
Table Rock itself? Very narrow, surrounded by drops of several hundred feet. I would never bring a dog out on that

Table Rock, Middle Brother Outlook, Huntington Cascade
Falls are a trickle right now. Pleasant hike, mostly moderate. Except for the steep areas next to the falls, and the last climb to Table Rock. Prema went out to the end, it made me too nervous. Beautiful views of the Balsams ans surrounding areas. Foliage was beautiful in the late afternoon sun.
Checked out Middle Brother on the way down. Many nice viewpoints.
The Balsams is such a pretty place. Wish they would do something good with it. |
