This was our 3rd 'whack of the day on a hot afternoon. We drove Cedar Stream Road to Crystal Brook Road, then took a left on Spur Road 30-60-0 (as named on Gaia). The right branch of Crystal Brook Road was gated. Drove this road for 1.2 miles till we couldn't get past an uphill rocky section even in a high clearance vehicle. Maybe someone with more nerve and better insurance could get past it. We parked it there and continued on foot, taking a right at the next junction and then continuing straight at the next junction. We found moose paths to the summit and returned the same way. |
