First time up Hale from the Firewarden’s side. I’m unclear if this is an officially maintained trail but it sure looked it. After reading beefman’s July report I went in the woods on the NW peak and found the moss-covered peak…definitely worth the 10 minute detour.
Quiet day in the woods. I passed 2 parties on Firewarden’s and none on North Twin…I took out all the spider webs on the way in and again on the way out~ |
