 | Comments: |
Trails are getting quite dry again with the drought.
Ski trail mowing is fairly widespread at this point (most steeps are not yet mowed).
Fall colors are reaching Waterville Valley. High elevation birch are starting to go gold (and will drop very quickly after), while oranges and reds are starting to pop up. Foliage is mainly green, but it could go quickly, particularly with this colder-than-average start to September following a colder-than-average August.
Morning clouds parted in the afternoon. Lots of folks out for Flags on the 48. |
