Hornets nest underground on trail about 0.9 miles up if doing loop counter-clockwise. Trail wraps around boulder to the right then switches back to left, at that point nest is on left side of trail. |

Dog and I got a number of bites [stings?]. The hornets were very angry, so be careful to avoid the left side of the trail in that area. Had to turn back after attack. |
