Comments
Comments: The little snow we have is drifted @ treeline, barely covering the ice flows elsewhere. Ice flows are everywhere. Most people wore microspikes, but this is really a Hillsound trail crampon hill until the ice melts. Even with spikes, the ice is steep and very slick from meltwater. No casualties that I saw, but people wearing spikes were careful and the few barebooters were envious.

About 24 people on the trails today, plus those who stopped at the picnic grounds.
