Recommended Equipment: Skis
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: no issues - I didn't put skis on until past first water crossings. Water crossing 1/3 of way up was sketchy on skis - even with skins it was easy to lose control due to steepness

Comments
Comments: Skinned up from ski area. Pretty good grip. Trail was well-broken out since what looked like a few inches of new powder. People were using snowshoes and light traction. All seemed to work find b/c the temps were around freezing so there was no postholing. Ascending the last 1/4 mi below the ridge was kind of steep for skins. I slid back a few times. The summit bump was a little tough on ski/skins - had a little trouble with checking speed for the descent. Sosman trail was lightly broken out. Bluebird skies - awesome views!!!
