 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We drove all the way to the Carriage Road Trailhead at Breezy Point. I'd recommend parking .4 miles below that so you don't have to engage the 4WD. Anything less than an old Jeep Wrangler and I'd walk it :) Just an FYI - a friendly-enough person was parked on this section on our drive out and he appeared to be camping/cooking |

bug-net recommended. We brought home an errant deer-fly - sorry buddy!!!! Lots of bugs which were super annoying the bottom 2/3 of the hike. |

Terrific morning/early day. Pretty decent views. Once south of Snapper, we didn't see anyone, which was nice. Summit was reasonably crowded. Enjoyed a dunk in the Baker River and an adult beverage after the hike = highlight of the day! Trail was pretty grown-in - I don't think I'll be snowboarding it again this winter. :( |
