A FINE day on Moosilauke! ALL HAIL SALAMI! Queen for a day, she is now the 43rd known person to hike the 366 calendatr day grid! We found great conditions throughout, and had a minor sunrise that through the haze was quite lovely. Met at the trailhead by Hiker Ed, Charlie and Nancy, and Pepper Johnn and Cayanne. Of the seven humans, all are gridders and Gypsy is only about a doze off her 366 - some serious mileage on those legs. Summit to ourselves, a light wind, stars, an almost full Sturgeon moon, can't beat it! |
