Great day for Izzy! He finished his winter 48 today! Plenty of traction, but not a lot of available water. |

It was a magnificent day above treeline! wore snowshoes car to car, which gave us plenty of traction, even on the summit cones.
Ammo was packed nicely. Drifting above treeline. Steady wind gave new meaning to the word cold, but we layered up and were fine.
Trail not broken between Pierce and Jackson; 8-12" of the white, fluffy stuff. Definitely needed snowshoes there. Congratulations to Izzy! and thanks Tim for yet another great day. Special thanks to Tim C for the ride. |
