Comments
Comments: Beautiful day, sunny, virtually no wind, cold early but great by mid-day. Trails all well packed out with some loose snow on top. My snow shoe broke 200 yards from the Kinsman Ridge trail so used microspikes from there over to S. Kinsman and back to the car. These worked fine although there were some areas of drifting going over to S. Kinsman. Ran into others in microspikes and Bruce was on snow shoes. Ideally, for trail integrity, snow shoes are best now. This should be particularly true with the warm temps expected.
