Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the end of York Pond Rd at 6AM. The small lot was full with a few parked roadside when I finished up

Comments: It was a good day to hit Cabot as I dive into my 4th round of the 48. The way up Bunnel Notch & killkenny ridge was pretty smooth. A bit of mud down low and some bugs early on. After tagging the summit, I decided to take the back way down over the Bulge and Horn then out Unknown Pond trail. The Horn was fun: little bit of scrambling up the big boulders. There was a bit of an under cast despite the hazy skies.
Unknown Pond Trail was a muddy mess on the way out, and the bugs were FIERCE. I nearly got eaten alive. As many as there were, they could have at least given me a lift back to the parking lot...
