Comments
Comments: Fun hike, but extremely hot and humid. Trails were dry in some areas but muddy in others. The mud was never horrible though. Arethusa Falls was a happening place today - at least 25 people were enjoying the falls when we were there, including a group from a summer camp.

We took Bemis Brook Trail on the way down. Very steep descent at the top, but quite doable if taken carefully. Parts of the trail are rough, but not terrible, and the water features are beautiful. We managed to get out just before the massive downpour started. The downpour was quite localized, though, since by the time we got to downtown Bartlett, the rain had stopped.
