Comments
Comments: doesn't really matter due to the excessive herd paths along the brook trail anyway

nice evening on Mt. Major and the belknap range. The trails are generally in good condition, with a tiny bit of mud here and there. Always sad to see how much the Brook trail has deteriorated with the excessive herd paths going everywhere. Went up the main trail, along brook trail until it hits the north straight back link, up that one to north straightback. then across to straightback, over to major and then finally down boulder trail. I find this is a nice loop to do if you want to do a bit more than major. came in at 5.5 miles, 1400ft elevation gain and 1h45m (but probably longer than that for most).
