Terrific afternoon hike. Blueberries were near peak - people were out picking. We ate our way over the summit. Looked at a bunch of outlooks but I think this summit has changed a bit since the last time I visited many years ago. Top is covered in scrub oak and blueberries. At one point I was like, it looks like someone had a fire here... and here... and here.... so much fire damage a while ago - the top must have been on fire??? I don't remember hearing about it but it must have been something!!! |
