Comments
Comments: We made a last minute decision this morning to do this hike and the weather turned out great. Wore snowshoes car to car. Valley way packed out. Randolph Path was unbroken from the valley way to King Ravine and from perch path to Gray Knob. Above The Perch there was significant drifting. Above treeline ranged from drifts to crunchy snow. It was hardly windy! Visibility decreased as the day grew late and snow increased, but nothing measurable had fallen before we descended. The trails have been broken out by hikers in a variety of footwear, some are smooth and some are rough. Thanks Tim for another great day and for cheerfully breaking miles of trail.
