Comments
Comments: Absolutely perfect conditions. Fantastic views. Crowded Saturday.

I did the loop counterclockwise with road walk from Galehead to Garfield lot. Avoided the bushwhack shown on AllTrails to bypass road walk and glad I did.

Garfield Ridge Trail is a nasty piece of work. Steep ups and downs that go on and on interwoven with mud in the few flat sections. I’m up to #32 and I can’t recall a less pleasant trail. Budget extra time.
