 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Pine Bend was easy rock hops.
Descending Sabbaday Brook had 7 or so crossings. Most were easy. Four of the crossings were a bit challenging to keep your shoes dry. We ended up
fording one and said what the heck on the last two and got out shoes wet. There were a few rocks that are under water making it a challenge. After the fact, I read in the guide book that you can bushwhack around the last two before reaching the falls. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Sabbaday Brook descending from Mt Tripyramid trail is a blowdown mess. There were a dozen or more large toppled trees. This went on for at least.5-.7 miles. It took us 50 minutes to go .7 miles.

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Piper, the golden retriever did tge whole 11 miles just fine. |
|
 | Bugs: |
The black flys were very bad, especially a half mile from North Tripyramid |

 | Comments: |
Pine Bend is easy the first 2 miles, then get ready for steep ascent with sections of boulder scrambles and rough terrain. Over 1,000ft in mile 3 and 850ft in mile 4.
Sabbaday Brook-descending this trail was a challenge with the blowdowns, never mind the steep terrain. After the first mile of descent the trail is very mellow, with numerous water crossings. Be sure to check out Sabbaday Falls. |
