Nice lot with toilets across the street from the trail - no fee.
A dozen cars when I arrived just after 08:00. Parked on Rt 113 when I returned. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing on Bicknell Ridge Tr. was an easy rock hop. The crossing on Baldface Circle was an easy rock hop, with many options at today's water level. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A large (2' diameter) hardwood is blocking Baldface Circle between the ends of Chandler Gorge Loop. It is a climb over/through.
A large softwood blow down on the ridge between South and North. It is a climb over.
A large softwood blow down on Bicknell Ridge Tr, below Eagle Cascade Link, crawl under.
The trail between South and North is quite the car wash in the rain. Needs significant brushing. |

Not recommended for Fido. I saw a couple, being carried (unplanned), on the south ledges. |

black flies and mosquitos both present, but not obnoxious. Did not use repellent or net, which I had with me. |

What a gorgeous day for this hike! fantastic views across the plains into Maine, and into the Wild River Wilderness. Snow fields still holding on Washington, with a significant amount still in Tuckerman Ravine. |
