Black flies were vexing in the upper elevations. Deer flies have emerged and were vexing on the ski slopes this afternoon. One tick from the ski slopes. |

Trails are drying out after the wetness yesterday. Still some mud in places at elevation, but much better than 24 hours ago.
Ski trail weeds/grass are getting tall in places, so it's not a great way to go. If wanting to use the slopes, the gravel access road is the smoothest travel at this point. Still one patch of snow remaining in the High Country.
Beautiful first full day of summer with sunny skies, crisp air and a breeze, and temperatures rising into the 70s. Lots of folks out on the trails. |
