Comments
Comments: This hike has been on my to do list for a while. 3 new trails today, and they didn’t disappoint. Blowdowns started right off the bat, theme of the day. Mud started after the 3rd river crossing, nothing horrible but your feet will get wet. Easy fast hike to junction with Rainbow. Fairly moderate climb on a dry trail. Beautiful birch glades thru here. Really beautiful views looking behind you. Great open spot before the final climb. Blowdowns were maddening, lots of work needed. Steep down to the hut, lots of blowdowns cleared but still more to do. Fairly gradual down with several more crossings. Missed the last turn, posted land turned me around. Lightly traveled loop but this is an amazing hike!
