Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some stonework on Lonesome Lake Trail is in danger of failing due to trail creep and erosion. Lowest wood step on the Fishin' Jimmy scramble is gone, and the next one up was wobbling. A number of failed bog bridges throughout. Lowest rung on Hi Cannon ladder is about to fail. Lots of really bad erosion and trail creep on Kinsman Ridge and Hi Cannon. Some blowdowns throughout; cut out one on KRT in the col.

Comments
Comments: Lonesome Lake Trail to the lake was mostly dry. Cascade Brook and Fishin' Jimmy had some mud. KRT across the Cannonballs and up Cannon had some wet ledge and some nasty mud bogs between the Cannonballs. Hi Cannon Trail had some wet ledge to contend with on the decent.

Encountered very few hikers, apart from at the hut and at the summit of Cannon.

Beautiful day for spring weekend 2025 standards with temperatures rising into the 60s. Some clouds, some sun, but no rain.
