Comments
Comments: Trail is well packed despite the best efforts of several barebooters. No-one was postholing except in one or two spots if they stayed on the packed way but higher up there is alot of snow. Skiers and riders have been all over the snow fields making the hiking way somewhat obscure. The rim trail has deep drifts. Snowshoes still preferred. Great views of Franconia Ridge until the clouds started to drift in.
