Comments
Comments: About an inch of new sticky snow on top of the stuff that had drifted yesterday. Wore snowshoes roundtrip - absolutely necessary today due to warm temperatures and moist, soft snow. Trail may be tough to follow in the upper elevations. I suspect the packed snow will set up tonight, while the unpacked may end up with a breakable crust.

Lots of snow in the upper elevations and significant drifts along the ridge (Rim Trail). Stairs to observation tower are a bit icy.

Afternoon hike - no rain, very little wind, and sun came out. Much nicer than the doom and gloom forecast.
