Comments
Comments: Lots of new snow up high. Started on Route 3 with 1 inch of new snow. Bare booted to the summer parking lot.

Wore snowshoes from there on. Snow built up to 3-5 inches in the Galehead hut area and 5-12 inches as I climbed South Twin. There were weird shark fin drifts across the top of Twin way and consistency of snow is grainy. I broke twinway out to North Twin and then retraced my steps. It was broken out well but wind was picking up on the way down and I did not see any one else.

Twinway heading to Zealand is not broken out. Gale River Trail and Gale Head had several other visitors today and was well broken out. I did not cross over to Garfield as Garfield Ridge Trail was not broken out and I was pretty done in by the time I got back to there. Overcast on all the summits today.
