| Comments: |
"ski trail" from Little River Rd to summer trail head was easy to follow.
Lower part of North Twin Trail including herd path to bypass crossings had several inches of fresh snow but was easy to follow in. After the 3rd crossing, snow depth increased, sometimes drifting up to 12 inches, completely obscuring any evidence of prior traffic. Only made it to 3600 ft elev before turning around.
While I was going up, several skiers and snowshoers packed out the trail almost the whole way to the 3rd crossing. Trail is now "lightly" broken from there to 3600 ft, unbroken powder beyond that point. |
