Comments
Comments: One set of tracks headed up liberty spring trail. New snow was only about five inches at the base. Reached up to eight inches on liberty spring, but not much drifting. To my surprise the tracks I was following headed north when they reached liberty spring. Breaking trail to the summit of Mt. Liberty was difficult due to drifting. Drifting was not too bad on the flume side though. Average depth of about 8 inches on the lower part of the ridge. Met three hikers just as I was descending from the summit of flume. The trail is now well packed and in great shape.

Flume slide trail was unbroken when I passed it on my way out in the afternoon.
