1 stepover blowdowns and 2 walk under. (I hit my head on the one just below Garfield peak, ducked under it on my return). |

Saw only 2 hikers and Izzy today. Expected to see more on this Leap Day. Started at 6:30AM and back by 1:30PM Temps. 0 to 25 no breeze with sunny to mostly cloudy skies with the approaching storm.
Great conditions. Road walk on 3 inches of loose powder, trails were packed powder and good walking with my stabilicers car to car, carried snowshoes on my pack again. 28/48W4K |
