Comments
Comments: Nice leap year hike. We wore snowshoes car to car. Crawford Path packed with some fluff..heavy drifting towards Webster Cliff Junction. Some drifting and fresh powder over to Eisenhower..paths all over the place but we stayed on trail and the going was good with up to a foot of fluff on packed base.Quite icy in spots to the summit though snowshoes worked fine.

Nice fluffy snow on Webster Cliff trail ..barebooted and postholed to death but the fresh snow made for a sweet walk. Group of 10 in crampons absolutely trampled the trail headed to Jackson which made for a very choppy narrow walk in snowshoes. Ran into that group just before Jackson..they marvelled at the large plastic things on our feet that allowed us to walk on snow so easily.

Jackson Branch down well packed out and easy going...we left the snowshoes on but could have spiked from the snowed in ledges down.

Great day out with TimC, Valerie, and Tim L
