as expected the first mile of the trail is almost exclusively running water. I would expect it to stay this way for a while considering the weather forecast. Otherwise the trail is in great condition. Much less mud higher up than I remember when I did it last. Couple really small patches of snow between Waumbek and Starr King but that was already considerably less than what the previous poster had mentioned just a few days ago so should be gone by the time anyone reads this. Yet another 52 without a view for Starr King but alas. |
