Comments
Comments: Hiked up the Tuckerman's Ravine trail and up the headwall. We bare-booted the entire way up the Tuckerman Ravine Trail, covering 3.1 miles and gaining around 2,500 feet in elevation. At the Ravine, snow was prime spring skiing. We saw some skiers go up the Left Gully. We made our way across the snow to the Lunch Rocks, where we paused to eat and enjoy the show — the skiers were sending it! One of their crew, without skis, was glissading down the slope with an ice axe, putting on a daredevil performance none of us will forget.

It was a perfect day with an amazing crew of Pemi Valley Hikers.
