Trail Maintenance Notes: Al Merrill and Asquam trail after 10th Mountain Division Overlook have a large amount of blowdowns - stopped counting at 200 trees down on trail. Can navigate the trails with some stepping over, crawling under, going around, etc.

Dog-Related Notes: Happy dogs with owners at start and end of hike near vehicles! 
Bugs
Bugs: Buzzing at the start of Hurricane Mountain and Glenncliff intersection and lower portions of Hurricane Mountain Trail. Nothing biting yet.

Comments: Great day for a unique hike to the top of Moosilauke and spending some time on DOC trails! Slush and ice above 4000 feet on Asquam trail but did not need traction.
