Comments
Comments: Last report was 2 weeks ago, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t need spikes, there was maybe 50 feet of monorail left near the top, in a level shady spot. Trail was a bit wet and muddy but not bad really. It was nice weather to hang out on the summit for 1 hour, had it to myself from 6:30-7:30 pm. Lots of different birds were up there today, blue jays were a nice sight as well as the usual grays. I took a visit to the pond behind the Highland Ctr but one side of the pond loop is closed. Nice pond, but I didn’t understand the red bench trail, that seemed pointless.
