| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Greeley Ponds Trail parking lot was full at noon, so I parked at the ski trail trailhead to the west - room for perhaps half a dozen vehicles at roadside. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Greeley Ponds ski trail had two open crossings - fairly easily crossed. No crossings beyond its junction on Greeley Ponds Trail. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few leaners on the Mt. Osceola Trail. One blowdown frozen into the snowpack on the Greeley Ponds blue ski trail. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Steeps up East Osceola, as well as the chimney bypass, are likely too dangerous for dogs right now. |

| Comments: |
Greeley Ponds blue ski trail was a bit rough - someone had barebooted and postholed up it. My snowshoeing (there is a separate snowshoe footbed for much of the way, vs. the ski track) helped fill some postholes in, but it's still a bit rough. From the ski trail junction to the Mt. Osceola Trail junction, the Greeley Ponds Trail was nicely packed and barebootable. Mt. Osceola Trail was becoming quite tricky due to sliding on the steep sections. Snow was wet, so it may set up like a luge run overnight. Chimney was not used (would require ice climbing equipment), and bypass was a bit tricky. Talked to a bunch of people who didn't make one or both peaks due to not having adequate traction. Tubbs Flex Alps provided just enough traction, but crampons were almost necessary. |
