Comments
Comments: Ammo up to lake of clouds was primarily dry at lower elevations, anywhere there’s rocks they are wet in parts but can either be navigated around or extra caution used when not. Some moving water on parts of trail over rock, no real drainage issues with any standing water. There is remnants of monorail in sections after second water crossing after the trail becomes more exposed - have to walk on it, no good way around..spikes were not donned but these parts softening with today’s higher temps made them a bit slick returning later in the day.

Crawford path from lake of clouds Monroe to Eisenhower has been baking in the sun, there’s nothing but dry trail over all the peaks. The backside of Crawford path to bypass little Monroe and the Big one heading back, a short distance from the hut has some standing water to walk around, but nothing to get your boots wet over.

Starting to look like spring in the presidentials today! Barefoot all the way, hikers choice to carry spikes - I do but that’s because I pack for dooms day.

Be safe and happy Hiking!! 🥾
