 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Most easy rock hops, crossing above Kilback pond looked like a small beaver dam has started but had no issue crossing over. There were a couple of crossings on lower part of Unknown Pond Trail that have washed out and are flagged. The water isnt overly deep but beware of the green slime on rocks as very slippery. 2nd of two that have washed is knee deep. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Mill Brook Trail sign needs replacing and is on the ground.MBT is well blazed with a few blowdowns. I removed a couple on the way up. Kilkennny Ridge Trail has approx 3 remaining between the tentsite and Rogers Ledge. I removed 3 as well. Unknown Pond Trail is in good shape with what looks like some new bog bridges. There are a few blowdowns as well |

 | Comments: |
A beautiful hike via MBT today which follows scenic Cold Brook for approx 2miles. Views for days on Rogers Ledge. After heading down towards Unknown Pond i realized there was a very straight forward bushwhack to Unknown Pond Mountain. After reaching height of land on trail i then bushwacked through mostly open woods approx .2 miles finding the canister and register with out issue. The last entry was 11/25/24. Out of water by the time reached the Unknown Pond but opted to hike down towards trailhead approx 1/8 of mile finding what appeared to be a much nicer source with a view of Mt Washington and the Prezis. There has been a tremendous amount of moose activity throughout todays loop |
