A FINE morning was had. A brilliant fire engine red sky waned to a cotton candy pink, and then a brilliant amber rays over Mount Shaw for sunrise. It's rising over Mount Shaw was a surprise, seeing as the last time we got to see a sunrise was September and it was well on the other side of the Sandwich Range. To echo Gypsy's report from Saturday, there are intermittent patches of snow but what's unavoidable is extremely short lived. Feet of snow have melted in the last week and change. Leave the spikes in the car, carry 10 oz more of snacks! Congrats to Gypsy on finishing calendar day May - her sixth complete month! We now all above half way! (Salami @ 9 complete, myself @ 11) |
