Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Sigh. We hiked this today because we are sad about the change that is coming, and will likely not pay the fee to park and hike this way again. That’s a bummer because this is a fabulous way to hike the Kinsmans.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All were rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There is nothing obstructing on this route - thank you!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My pup had a great time today; this is a terrific route for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: Not yet, though the wind was probably helping!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: We did not see the lost Silky Saw that was posted about on FB (we definitely looked). Ugh so sorry.

Comments
Comments: Rock spikes went for a ride. We didn’t see anyone wearing traction today. The monorail bits were in two places - below the KRT junction and between the two summits. It was almost entirely avoidable without stepping off the trail. The slab scrambles were wet but not icy. We had a blast seeing so many familiar faces!!
