Sigh. We hiked this today because we are sad about the change that is coming, and will likely not pay the fee to park and hike this way again. That’s a bummer because this is a fabulous way to hike the Kinsmans. |

We did not see the lost Silky Saw that was posted about on FB (we definitely looked). Ugh so sorry. |

Rock spikes went for a ride. We didn’t see anyone wearing traction today. The monorail bits were in two places - below the KRT junction and between the two summits. It was almost entirely avoidable without stepping off the trail. The slab scrambles were wet but not icy. We had a blast seeing so many familiar faces!! |
