Nice cool morning great for hiking up the steep New Path, wet rocks and some loose rocks. We enjoyed all the outlooks on South, pretty decent views, a little hazy south and east. Big view of Mt. Washington. Black still had some good sections of their ribbon of snow down their ski trails. We enjoyed hiking with the Huskies. We met a few people on South as we were leaving. Black cabin would be so much nicer if they cleared the trees around it. We met a few others hiking up the Ski Trail. Good choice we were protected from the wind, trail mostly dry and the wildflowers are so behind not a single bloom! |
