The majority of the trail is wet. The crossings are easy to hop over, but you’ll eventually step in a bunch of puddles. |

So many blow downs:
0.85 mi (from Ethan Pond TH lot) - big birch on trail
1.40 mi - a couple more on trail
Ethan Pond turn off - big tree across the path
2.40 miles - 2 blow downs
2.50 - another one or two

No snow or ice worth mentioning! But the trade off is nearly three miles of very wet trails with a bunch of blow downs that are seeing herd paths develop around them. Some of the ladders are also in very rough shape, but navigable.
All in all, ok conditions for mid spring if you’re looking to ditch the spikes and stretch your legs. |
