Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at Cardigan Lodge - only about 3 cars in entire lot early afternoon. Shem Valley Rd was in really good shape - no ruts - would be passable with low-clearance vehicle.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Fowler River (Clark Brook?) was rock-hoppable with care - I had to really pick my route. Thankfully there has been a lot of work removing deadfall out of the brook, including the big trees across this turn at the trail - plan to rock-hop or wait for more rain and enjoy a class 4-5 paddle down the river!!!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Much work has been done removing deadfall - trail was in excellent shape, despite the rain showers
