| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I'm mostly making this post in case anyone else (like myself) didn't know quite where to park in order to do this hike. Thanks to the guy I met this morning (Windu?) who gave me directions to the trailhead. Since the Haystack road is closed, drive to the end of the nearby Little River Road (the one with the 7 Dwarfs Inn on it). When you get to the end of the road, park, and walk across the bridge. On the other side of the bridge follow the path (not the road) for about a mile to reach the trailhead for North Twin Trail. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The trail only crossed one river of any significance, and it was ice bridged. Easy walk across. |

| Comments: |
A couple of groups had gone ahead of me, and done all the hard work breaking out the trail and consolidating it. (Sorry I didn't catch up to lend a hand...) I put my snowshoes on while on the herd path, and left them on for the rest of the hike. Nothing special to report; the trail is in good shape and easy to follow. |
