Comments
Comments: Wow what a day! Cog was frozen on the way up and wow did the get a lot of snow from last week! Made it to the summit in under 3 hours and saw soooo many skiers heading to airplane gully! Hit George and then went over to Jefferson. Ouff! What a difference a week and new snow can make. Talk about absolutely mess spring wet conditions! Dry trail, wet trail, river, spring snow, solid snow, post hole… I never needed traction because you would ruin it. It was windy but warm so we were good! Only saw 2 other hikers and maybe 10’skiers! There was so much melt on our way back it was nuts! 40 degrees to start and 80 to finish. Waumbek and lower is all bare. What a spring day!
