 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Fairly large parking lot on Passaconaway Rd. There was plenty of space, although with others ahead of us almost half the lot was filled. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Other than one step-over early on, the only stream of any size has a nice wood bridge over it, and without it the stream would have been an easy enough rock hop. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape. Here and there up high, the yellow blazes are quite worn. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There were a couple, well-behaved. There isn't much opportunity for water breaks, so water for the pooch must be brought along. |
|
 | Bugs: |
There may have been a few here and there, and non-biting, but otherwise the day was bug-free. |

 | Comments: |
Nice early season hike with the OTHH, and a large group of us at that. The day was hot, though, 82 F on return to the cars. The little stretch of bare-bootable snow between S & M peaks, at a low point well-shaded in the trees, is nearly gone. None of the three patches I saw was still on the trail. |
