 | Comments: |
Generally pre-mud season up to mile 2.9 with bare boots, and most of the bog bridges are completely exposed. Then spotty, negotiable hardened monorail (4-8") for another 0.3. About at mile 3.6 it's worth putting on spikes. The wreckage under the snow is just starting to become exposed so it's a landmine of potential spruce traps (with plenty of post holes for guidance!) from 4.1 to the summit. Still a good deal of snow pack (almost up to summit sign). |
