Comments
Comments: Spotty ice starting half mile from the start, but was able to bareboot for the first mile. Several ice patches in the mid-section, spikes helpful, especially on the way down. Full coverage snow/ice for most of the trail, remaining stable for now - still 4+ ft of snow at higher elevation. Monorail starting to deteriorate on the ridge section (Rim Trail). Rocks bare on the rock/ledge scramble above the side path to the ledge view.
Beautiful day to be out! Veteran Eva did well!
